Although we can scan any size image up to 8.5 X 11 inches, a personal-size bank check is horizontally aligned (landscape, in the printing business), therefore, vertical images (portrait, in the printing business) will not cover the entire check from left to right. See the example below. We can blend or feather the edges of the vertical image into a similar background or we can place a custom background behind your photograph.
